Meet Our Staff
Our dedicated staff is here to afford our patients a comfortable and pleasant environment while ensuring complete confidentiality when it comes to their periodontal needs. The majority of the staff has over 20 years experience in dentistry. Each staff member attends continuing education courses yearly learning about unique cases and advanced technology that enhances their skills for patient care.
Front Office
You will find our front-office team to be knowledgeable and sensitive to the questions and concerns you may have regarding dentistry, appointments, scheduling and finances.
Vicky is our treatment planning coordinator. She will assist you with scheduling procedures, counseling about finances and answering any questions concerning the office. She has been a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant since 1980, graduating from Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida. She worked in a large group practice in Florida before moving to Knoxville in 2000. “At Dr. Madigan’s office, we work together to provide our patients with great care and service from the clinical to the financial.”
Dental Hygienists/Dental Assistants
Our staff includes two hygienists and two dental assistants. Each hygienist and dental assistant provides a caring environment of high standards in safety and professionalism.
Anna has been a dental hygienist in our office since 1997. She began her career in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1984 graduating from Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville. Afterwards, she was an office manager in a restorative dental practice for several years. In 1993, she graduated as a dental hygienist from Tennessee State University in Nashville. Her patients are very loyal and give Anna credit for helping them “keep their teeth for a lifetime.”
Alison has been a dental hygienist in Dr. Madigan’s office since 1997. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1994 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 1996, she received her bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education. Her loyal patients refer to her as a “meticulous, thorough savior of their teeth.” “I love taking care of my patients and helping them keep their healthy smiles.”
Dena joined our staff in 2006 after working for several top-notch dental practices in Knoxville. Her knowledge and skill in general dentistry is outstanding. She received her degree in computer science from Pellissippi State in 1990. In 1992, she graduated from Aristotle College in Indiana and became a Certified Dental Assistant. Dena takes a real interest in our patients and treats them with respect and compassion.
Becca is the newest member of our staff. She graduated number one from her dental assisting class at Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville. She is very eager to learn and always wants to know the answers to all the questions. We credit Becca for always having a smile and a laugh creating the happy atmosphere that we all enjoy.
